Thu, January 8, 2009 at 03:22PM I first encountered Erich Fromm in International Relations 202 nearly ten years ago. He's one of about thirty or so authors I read as a sophomore whose name I can actually remember and whose wisdom has informed many of my political, historical, and philosophical opinions.
If Erich Fromm is right; if "creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties," then these 'fellas are our gift to creativity. For anyone struggling through The Artist's Way, perhaps it's time to go get a wingsuit:
